AirPatrol WiFi Launches on IFTTT

The AirPatrol team is proud to announce that the AirPatrol WiFi IFTTT channel is now live.

We have been hard at work over the last months to get this integration ready, and now you can connect your AirPatrol WiFi to any service or product found on IFTTT.

If you aren’t familiar with IFTTT, it stands for “If This, Then That”, and is a way to integrate and automate different services and gadgets based on different triggers and actions. The combinations of two products is called an “Applet”, and works in a way if a trigger is activated, for example it gets too cold outside, then an action will occur, your heat pump will turn on. You can find out more on their homepage.

Connecting your AirPatrol WiFi with services like Amazon’s Alexa, iOS and Android location, and Date and Time, you can now make your home and your AC/Heat Pump even smarter.

The team went ahead and created a few ‘Applets’ to get you started.

Here are some of the top Applets.

On of our favorites is to tell Alexa to set your temperature:

You can also tell Alexa to turn off you AC or Heat Pump:

Turn your AC or Heat Pump off when you are leaving home with Android:

And if it drops below a certain temperature outside, set your AC to a specific temperature:

The integrations and connections are endless, so go ahead and check it out for yourself.

Make sure to let us know in the comments or email if we are missing any integrations you want to see.
